Welcome to Shotguns and Stilettos!

Shotguns and Stilettos is a multi-day celebration of shopping, shooting and socializing.  The two weekends of fun include the Spring Fling Shopping Market, Girls’ Night out Preview Party, Ladies’ Luncheon, Children’s Event, Clay Shoot and the Buckshot Bash.  Remember, this event is the only major fundraiser for The Junior League of Midland, Inc.

Girls’ Night Out Preview Party kicks off the fundraising weekend.  Attendees will have the first shot at the merchandise from our vendors plus light appetizers and cocktails, of course. Every ticket holder will receive a shopping bag that will allow free entry into the market for the weekend.  Event is held at the new Horseshoe Pavilion on February 11^th from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.  Purchase tickets for GNO by clicking here.

Ladies’ Luncheon is a great time to get away with your friends for an enjoyable lunch and an afternoon of shopping.  Come and hear Darren McGrady, "The Royal Chef", Former Chef to Queen Elizabeth II, Diana Princess of Wales, Princes William and Harry.  The lunch will be held at the Horseshoe Pavilion on Friday, February 12^th from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. • Tickets: $100

The ever popular Children’s Event will be on Saturday, February 13^st from 10 a.m.-12 noon at the Horseshoe Pavilion. Come enjoy a kid friendly pancake breakfast buffet in your favorite storybook character. It will be a morning filled with food and festivities for all ages. The Midland County Horseshoe Pavilion will be packed with activities, including an exotic petting zoo, bouncing jumpers, clowns, a mobile gaming unit and a balloon twister! Best dressed awards will be given out, so be sure to come as your favorite storybook character. We look forward to a morning filled with fun and excitement!  • Tickets: $50

Clay Shoot will be at Jake’s Clays again on Friday, February 19^th, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.  Join us for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. before the shoot.  Lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m. while we announce the winners of the door prizes.  As always, one in eight shooters will win a fantastic prize.

You will not want to miss the Buckshot Bash on Saturday February 20^th at the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Hangar! This year our entertainment will begin with The Rankin Twins followed by our headliner Kevin Fowler.  We will also be featuring the dance band, Wood & Wire. The silent and live auctions are packed full of fantastic items and wonderful trips.  Come relax and enjoy a memorable concert and meal all while supporting our community projects.  Event runs from 6:30 p.m.-12 midnight.
