What A Bash!

We had a wonderful time at the Buckshot Bash this year! We'll hit the high points of the evening, including some of our favorite moments!

The doors opened at 6:00 p.m. and we began the evening by browsing the selection of silent auction options, sipping and socializing! Some of the wonderful silent auction items included beautiful jewelry, various fitness classes, and photography sessions, just to name a few! All the men swooned at our raffle item, a Browning Citori 725 Grade V.

Introductions began at 6:30 p.m., followed by the greeting by Michelle Dinger and the Invocation by Leaf Faller. Dinner lines opened soon after. Don Strange of Texas catered an incredible meal, enjoyed by all! As we enjoyed our delicious dinner, we watched the wonderful video featuring our ladies discussing our various placements throughout the year. In case you missed it, you can watch the video here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZH_MxWZ0CI&feature=youtu.be

After the video and as we finished dinner, the live auction began. Our live auction items included:

·         "Art Is Not Dead"-An original art piece donated by Baron Batch

·         Mendocino Wine Country Getaway-The ultimate California wine experience for two

·         Pheasant/Chukar Hunt for Ten-A 2-day/1-night all inclusive hunt at the Champion Ranch

·         Texas Tech Homecoming-2 Suite Tickets, parking pass, and hotel accommodations for the Texas Tech Homecoming game

·         Bahamas Beachfront Retreat-One week accommodations for 8 at Bone Ami retreat in Aboco, Bahamas

·         Kentucky Derby & Derby Parties For Two-A whirlwind tour of the best Kentucky has to offer

·         Safari For Four-An African 5-day safari for 4 hunters

·         Poole Lab Puppy-An adorable chocolate lab puppy from one of the finest Labrador breeders in Texas

Last, but certainly not least, was an unforgettable performance by John Michael Montgomery! We danced the night away, enjoying classics from "Life's A Dance" to "Sold (At The Grundy County Auction)."

What a BASH! Words cannot express how thankful we are for those who not only helped coordinate the event, but those who generously donated auction items as well as attended the event itself. We couldn't have done it without your support. Thank you for helping us "Build A Better Midland."
